DogPAC ranked-choice endorsements of
#1 Sandra Lee Fewer and #2 Jonathan Lyens for District 1 Supervisor!
Sandra Lee Fewer is no stranger to the political workings of San Francisco having entered solidly in her early work in public education budgeting nearly half-billion dollars of taxpayer money (former Supervisor Tom Ammiano's 2004 Prop H) on the Public Education Enrichment Fund (PEEF) Community Advisory Committee at SF Unified School District (SFUSD). And, from there she earned the public's support to be elected to the school board. She has been a tireless school mom and advocate for children and families making good decisions and implementing needed programs. Sandra is also a dog lover and has jumpstarted the process for desperately needed renovations at the Golden Gate Park Dog Play Area near Spreckels Lake. Sandra supports the dog community and our struggles at the GGNRA and Recreation and in SF Parks.
Jonathan Lyens as been a solid advocate for homeless issues. He is steadfast in his stances on homelessness, affordable housing, city budget, public education among others. He supports animal welfare issues and other dog issues around the city.
